African Association for Rural Electrification (CLUB-ER): 12th General Assembly

The CLUB-ER, in partnership with the Côte d’Ivoire Ministry of Petroleum, held its 12th General Assembly from 19 to 23 September 2016 in Abidjan.
This meeting was organized with the support of the AfDB/SEforALL Africa Hub, ADEME (Agence de l’Environnement et de la Maîtrise de l’Energie - France), the IFDD (Institut de la Francophonie pour le Développement Durable – Québec) and CI-ENERGIES.
Its agenda of this event included meetings with international private sector and national firm in rural electrification sector and renewable energy.
The event was opened by the Ivorian authorities and attended by the leaders of 36 CLUB-ER Institutional Members smoldering 30 African countries, Associate Members, representatives of partner organizations active in the sector supporting the event (AfDB/SEforALL Africa Hub, ADEME and IFDD), representatives of new countries invited to join the CLUB-ER and representatives of the local and African private sector.
