The Green Mini-Grids Market Development Programme (GMG MDP) is producing a document series made up of reports and studies relative to trends in the dynamically evolving clean energy mini-grid sector.
The GMG Document Series No.1 is now available: Green Mini-Grids in Sub-Saharan Africa: Analysis of Barriers to Growth and the Potential Role of the African Development Bank in Supporting the Sector.
This report analyses the main barriers to scaling up GMGs in Africa; how developers are overcoming these barriers; and what could be the AfDB role to support the sector.
