SEforALL Country Actions are being implemented across the entire continent. Almost all opting-in countries prepared the Rapid Analysis; twenty-five are developing or have already finalised Action Agendas; and more than ten have developed or are in the process of developing Investment Prospectuses.
Forty-four African Countries, mainly in Sub Saharan Africa, have joined the Initiative, testifying to the importance of its objectives for the future of the continent.
A large number of regional initiatives are being developed to support the SEforALL Initiative achieve its objectives as well as the objectives of Sustainable Development Goal number 7 by 2030.
Financing facilities from multilateral and bilateral institutions, as well as private institutions, are being scaled-up to increase investments in the African energy sector.
